Experience
He held various executive and legislative positions at both the national and the City of Buenos Aires levels. From 2002 to 2003, he served as a National Deputy representing the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. From 2003 to 2007, he served as a legislator for the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, holding the position of Vice President of the Legislature from 2007 to 2009. Between 2009 and 2013, he served as Minister of Environment and Public Space of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. From 2013 to 2015, he served as a National Senator representing the City of Buenos Aires. He served as Minister of Security and Justice for the City of Buenos Aires from 2018 to 2021. Afterwards, from 2015 to 2021, he served as Deputy Chief of Government for the City of Buenos Aires. From 2021 to 2025, he served as a National Deputy representing the Province of Buenos Aires, and from 2025 to 2026, he served as Minister of the Interior of Argentina. Currently, he serves as Chief of Staff to the Cabinet of Ministers of Argentina.
He previously held different roles at Banco Ciudad, the Social Security Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires (Instituto de Previsión Social de la Provincia de Buenos Aires), the National Directorate of Migration (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones), and the Ministry of the Interior of the Argentine Republic. He also has private-sector experience in financial advisory services, investments, and corporate management.
Studies
He is a Certified Public Accountant graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. He has completed specialized studies and courses in marketing, finance, management, and strategic development, and has also participated in international programs and seminars on economics, leadership, and sustainability.
